How long have you been riding for?

I’ve been riding bikes for as long as I can remember. It all started when a magnanimous bike shop owner from my Grandmother’s cycling club gifted me his old road bike. Man, I rode that thing into the ground.

What type of riding do you enjoy the most?

I really enjoy getting into the woods on my mountain bike. I also love touring with my partner, especially on the Vancouver Island bikepacking Collective group rides.

What’s your favourite place to eat after a long ride?

A wrap from Red Barn after a ride at Hartland cannot be beat.

Show off your favourite bike!

It’s hard to pick one. I’d say it’s either my Marin El Roy hardtail or my Surly Crosscheck. My Crosscheck is set up with Surly Sunrise bars and a huge Wald 139 basket. It’s a joy to ride around town.
