How long have you been riding for?

I was a bit of a late bloomer to cycling! I didn't learn to ride till I was 18, but then I really took to it. I started exploring my hometown (Toronto) by bike and within a year I'd gotten a job as a bike messenger.

What type of riding do you enjoy the most?

Some health issues have kept me from doing much cycling, so these days my fave activity is walking up and around PKOLS (Mt Doug). I'm lucky to live a five minute walk from the park, so I go there at least once a week!

Show off your favourite bike!

I've had more than a few bikes over the years but my favourite would have to be one I don't have any more. An early 90s Miele road bike with a lugged steel frame - at the time these were made in Canada. I picked it up used, and rode it in many different configurations: geared, fixed gear, singlespeed, drop bar, flat bar, alt bar, etc. I probably put more kilometres on this bike than any other I've had.
